She was very excited to make 'swimming rolls' for daddy. He took Bradyn and went to make some money cutting wheat so we made cinnamon rolls for a surprise breakfast for Father's Day.

She 'helped' me roll them out ;)

She did help with the sugar and cinnamon though

And a picture before they raised. I forgot to take a picture after they were baked and the ones I didn't freeze are almost gone :)

Kittens

My friends cat had 5 kittens last night they are so cute!

5 kittens and not one looks the same :)

She didn't mind that we were there, but of course we knew better than to touch them or she might have cared :) She kept coming over to us wanting us to pet her though.

Brett found a turtle while fishing so he brought it into our yard for all the kids to see. The kids I babysit loved it and I think would have taken it home if they thought they could get away with it :)

Garden

We found our plants this year at Walmart on clearance...not sure why because they have turned out nice. We have already enjoyed onions(diced really fine), a potato(Darrin tilled up), and strawberries. I need to go pick some green beans that are ready as well. Looking forward to a summer full of fresh veggies!

Bradyn's Birthday

Since we had celebrated with family and friends last month we just had a small celebration yesterday. He wanted to play soccer with his dad after supper. Darrin had to work yesterday, but a friend came in and covered for a couple hours so he could come home. Bradyn didn't care what we had for supper so Darrin asked for fried chicken something we don't have very often :) Darrin actually finished making it since I was busy getting the kids I babysit out the door. Earlier in the day we had a Pizza party with a couple friends and then went swimming at a friends house. I think he would say he had a really good 5th Birthday :)

They had their birthdays spread out over several days. Mommom sent their gifts a couple days after the party and they were very excited to still be getting gifts :)

Preschool Program

On May 19th Bradyn graduated from preschool...they had a really long program since they combined the three classes at the preschool. There were quite a few cute songs that each class performed for us.

Here is Bradyn receiving his diploma and gift from his teacher...unfortunately my camera was on the wrong setting and Darrin didn't realize it so we have some blurry pictures :)
