5 month checkup

We had appts for both Bradyn and Kaylee yesterday. Kaylee's was a well baby check and Bradyn's was for a little boy problem. He goes to see a urologist in 1 month to correct the problem. He also got a shot which he fussed about for a couple of seconds and then seemed okay. Kaylee got 3 shots and an oral immunization she cried a little longer:( She was still fussy,but she went to sleep easier than she had been going to sleep. I think the shots must act like a sedative :)

She is now 12lbs 12oz and 25 inches long the dr said she is just going to be a tiny baby nothing to worry about :)

Bradyn was 29lbs 10oz and 35 1/2 inches long

Darrin called me into the kitchen the other night and showed me this. He couldn't get out and was upset about it, but Darrin ran to get the camera for these pics.

Big Girl!!

She sat for at least a minute the other night. I had actually never thought about sitting her by herself, I guess I just want her to be a baby for a long time :(

5 months

I was hungry for cake yesterday so I made one and decided to decorate it for her "5 month birthday" Not very good looking, but it tasted yummy :)

I didn't have the flash on so they are a little blurry...
This is her new look she is teething really hard right now

I caught her mid yawn here even though it looks like she is going to yell :)
She had a better day today she didn't cry all evening which was a nice change. We had lots of talkative babies and toddlers in church tonight.

I sat her in this the other day she wasn't happy for long.

The other day Bradyn woke up late so I decided to not make him take a nap that afternoon. An hour or so after his normal naptime he walked to the bedroom door and said something about laying down. I didn't force the issue and he wandered around the house with his blankets before laying on the living room floor and falling asleep. Today he did the same thing and tonight he is running a fever so he may have just been coming down with something :(

He found this hat when we were cleaning the other day so of course he wanted to wear it.

He is full of mischief most of the time.

The wet spots are from a drink he spilled even though it looks like he had an accident.

I decided to try some outdoor pictures while Bradyn was with Darrin.

They turned out pretty cute!

Bath Time

Bradyn and Kaylee had their first bath together while we were at the hotel this weekend. Kaylee is enjoying bathtime more lately.

Labor Day

I didn't take many pictures this past weekend I kept forgetting to take the camera with me. We had a good time of eating, relaxing, eating, shopping, and (did I mention eating:) We(Seth, Natalie, myself, and 3 kids) left for Springfield Saturday night after Sarah Schaper's wedding. Darrin met us in Branson Sunday evening. We spent the night with Adrian and Anthony Arender and then went to church with them the next morning. We left Sunday evening for Branson and spent Monday and part of Tuesday there. We spent Tuesday afternoon shopping in Springfield and then arrived home late last night.
