Happy Birthday Darrin

Bradyn saw a fire truck cake and thought Darrin needed one for his birthday :) So I attempted one.....they recognized it that is all that matters. I guess it tasted good since I didn't eat any :( ,but they said it did.

So blogger is really weird today....I have no idea where this text is going to come up. They both love to empty the dishwasher and put away the dishes not the ones in the top cupboards of course.

Last week I asked Bradyn if he wanted to help me with supper and Kaylee couldn't be left out :) She is 'peeling' one of his. It takes him quite awhile to get it to this point, but he does a good job!!

Today I was inspired to make bread....I haven't made bread for us in quite awhile mainly because we/I don't need the carbs :) The other loaf is just plain white, but I wanted one loaf like my mom used to make. My mom was probably one of the best bakers around I love using her recipes and being reminded of what it was like in our house growing up. A friend after hearing me name a bunch of things I was hungry for that my mom had made told me it was a wonder we didn't all weigh over 200 lbs growing up :) It is true she made a lot of yummy food, but with 6 people in the family a lot of food only went a little ways.

Not sure how he got in, but I figured he can stay as long as he likes :) Pretty sure he was smiling at the camera for me ;)

This little monkey is who I get to spend some one on one time with while her brother is in school :) Only on Mondays since I am babysitting every other morning. She LOVES the little girl I am watching probably a little too much ;) Thankfully Claire has 2 older siblings so she is used to other children....for the most part.

No Training Wheels :)

This past summer he acted like he wanted to ride without training wheels...so we took them off one evening. We worked with him that night, but he just wasn't getting it. A week or so later I suggested practicing again and with one push later he had it figured out. This video clip was taken that same day.

Sleepover Fun!

Several weeks ago we kept our nephews and neices over a Friday and Saturday. We had a lot of fun and I think they did too! We took them out to eat, to the pool, and the park/zoo. The above pictures were taken Friday night after baths and devotions....I think this was Darrin's way of getting them to wind down ;)

~Preschool 2010-2011~

Sibling Love.....or something like that ;) They do love each other and are getting along better the older they get.

Waiting on mommy to finish with the pictures so he could go inside...he was excited and didn't cry at all. Now me on the other hand...I was sad that my little boy is growing up. I am seriously considering homeschooling now :)

I miss her :( I wish my children could know her other than from pictures and stories! I would trade just about anything to have her here again. So glad I have the assurance that one day we will meet again!

Dana and I took our kids(and Aunt Dawn) to a free waterpark several weeks ago. They had so much fun as you can tell :)
