Here are some pictures of the flooding by the Arch. You can see where the lightpoles are surrounded by water. This was taken on our way back Tuesday, July 1st. When we went through there on the 24th it wasn't over the banks.

Sick

Bradyn had a lot of accidents while we were gone including the fat lip in the picture. He is definitely all boy :) When we got home last night he went to bed without a fight that should have been my first clue that he was sick. He woke around 1:30 with a fever and a hoarse voice. He has been throwing up along with it and his temp goes from normal to 103. So I guess he and Darrin decided to wait until we got home to get the strep that I had the week before. I am hoping that Kaylee is too young to get it.

Vacation part 1 of ?

Well we made it back safely from PA/OH. We traveled over 2500 miles, ate way too much fast food, had lots of fun, and way too little sleep :) So we came home to rest from our vacation. I don't have a lot of pictures on my camera so I have to wait until my family emails some and that could be awhile :)

My aunt bought this for Kaylee when she was first born. My cousin used her sewing machine to add her name to the diaper cover. She was able to wear it for the first time on Sunday.

2 months have flown by :( We have been having so much fun with her this past month. She is staying awake more, smiling, and starting to "talk". She weighed 8lbs 13oz on Thursday. So she has gained 2lbs this month.

So tired :) Her little skirt was still too big and it kept climbing up her belly. I guess that is better than falling off.

Aunt Vicki, Alicia, Natalie, and Aunt Vashti put together a very nice baby shower for us. There were around 20 including babies and we had a great time.

The picture with all the little babies is so cute they were born within 6 1/2 months of each other. If everyone still lives here they will be in the same class in school.

8 weeks

I can't believe she will be 2 months old on Saturday :( She is definitely changing. She is starting to smile I haven't caught her big grins on camera yet.

I found some cute sunglasses on Saturday and couldn't resist getting them for her. She actually would have preferred I didn't bother buying them as you can tell from the pictures. Even with the paci she didn't appreciate them :)

We celebrated Bradyn's birthday early since it falls on Sunday this year. Darrin has to work that day so it really wouldn't work for us to celebrate it then. I decided to try decorating his cake myself this year. I haven't decorated a cake in probably 8 years at least. Bradyn liked it and that is what matters and it tasted pretty good. We had pizza, cake and ice cream. We had the party at Papa and G-ma's house. Great G-ma Clifton, Uncle Brett, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Alicia, Devon, Landyn, Courtney, and Nichole were there to help celebrate. He wasn't feeling very good he spent Thursday with a fever and throwing up. He hadn't thrown up since Thursday night, but he still ran a fever off and on Friday. He is very clingy to me right now since getting sick.

Kaylee now weighs 7lbs 15oz and is 21 1/2 inches long. So is definitely looking bigger to us and fitting in 0-3 month clothes. She probably weighs more than that now since it was a week ago that I weighed her. She is more alert now and stays awake for longer periods of time. Bradyn would hold her all the time if I would let him. He is doing really good with her.
