New Camera

Darrin got me a Canon Rebel XSI for Christmas. So I have been doing a lot of practicing before Christmas day. I have some pretty cute subjects to practice on too. This was after he was sick all morning on Monday :(

He and I apparently got the flu bug again! I love the little drop of drool coming off of her chin.

6 months ago we snapped this picture at my baby shower...The outfits weren't planned ahead, but it was the Sunday before Christmas so they matched :)

We snapped several pictures and they did really well considering it was close to bed time.

Birthdays!!

My neices both have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other so we celerated their birthdays together this year.

Courtney turns 2 on December 29th

This has been a full month with flying to PA, sick kids, and holiday activities. I guess I can use that as a good excuse to being late with her 8 month blog post.

She is turning into a busy little girl. She will entertain herself for quite awhile as long as someone is in view :) Somedays she doesn't need me in her eyesight, but lately it seems she does. Oh well they are only little for a short time. She is ready to start crawling, but she is content to just scoot :)

Darrin's Buck

He shot this the other night. It has 9 points :) Sorry about all the blood, but I guess that comes with killing a deer.
Bradyn actually was out with Darrin when he shot this so he was pretty excited.

"O Christmas Tree"

I know these are dark, but I didn't want to use the flash. Bradyn wanted to be by the tree tonight. He actually has only gotten in trouble a couple of times for messing with the tree this year. Kaylee has actually been told "no" for touching it several times.

She is finally feeling better. Thankfully she didn't lose any weight when she was sick. She apparently had Rotavirus. She had received all 3 vaccines so the doctor said it shouldn't have been that bad. I think it lasting a week wouldn't be considered very good, but some babies are hospitalized due to dehydration.

We started giving her cereal again and she seems to be keeping it down better than before. She weighs just over 15lbs at 8 months. Bradyn weighed around 19lbs at 8 months.

She got her second tooth on the 25th of Nov. She loves to stand wherever she can; bathtub(sink), crib, by her chair, by someone.

On another note Please pray for her she has the virus that is going around. She has had it since Wednesday.
